From Evidence to

Meaningful Practice

AAC to Z, PLLC was founded on the belief that meaningful communication begins with meaningful learning. Whether I'm preparing future speech-language pathologists, partnering with educators through professional learning, or supporting children and families, my work is centered on translating evidence into practical, sustainable strategies that improve communication outcomes. By combining clinical expertise, adult learning principles, and implementation science, I create learning experiences that build confidence, strengthen practice, and expand communication access.

CURRENT SCHOLARSHIP

Advancing AAC Implementation Through Meaningful Learning

As a clinical doctoral student in speech-language pathology, my current scholarship focuses on designing professional learning that helps special education teachers build the knowledge, confidence, and implementation capacity needed to successfully integrate augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) into everyday classroom instruction. My work draws on implementation science, instructional design, and adult learning principles to bridge the gap between research and sustainable educational practice.
